    basically, if you think about it, coaches are used car salesman and real estate agents. You might as well take your check in pork and beans unless you win a bowl game. That is all you could afford.

    We still got a better coach than ECU.

    Ruffin McNeill is a "second bananna". He's a "players coach" who loves to hug and kiss on his players......but he thrives as the #2 guy, when the #1 guy is a strong leader and disciplinarian (e.g., Leach). McNeill is NOT a head guy. Discipline is NOT his thing. Texas Tech knew this. ECU will learn it fast enough.
