That's the only answer I have.
Many times a (coach/actor/famous person) agrees to be interviewed only under certain conditions, such as: The reporter agrees that certain things are "off limits", as a condition of the interview. Don't know if that's the case here, but in fluid and sometimes delicate situations like SD has been dealing with lately, it most certainly could be. If that's the case, the reporter really cannot "report" that certain things are agreed to be offlimits, and cannot defend himself.
Hold up JFord - i wasn't taking a shot at you guys, just curious as to why it wasn't asked. I was thinking along the lines of cherokeedawg's post. I don't see why you couldn't reveal that it was off limits but then again i'm not a journalist.
