I've got a late (and overlooked) HS recruit in Texas that I'm trying to turn on to LA Tech. The coaches are looking at him now. But I can't even tell him who our OC is yet.

I'd put my money on this one. Tech is not going to make an official announcement without a formal approval from the AC, and these days they may be trying to get their bang for their buck with AC meetings.

Hmmm. this is disturbing. Still no announcement about Tony Franklin being named OC at LA Tech. Are we certain this "story" was credible? Just saying........not sure I understand the advantage of delaying the impending announcement any longer if indeed the rumor is true.

The AC met Thursday and approved Franklin, moments before school was let out for the storm.

School will not be back in until Thursday, thus the delay in the announcement.

Also there was a coaching clinic/meeting out of town that was delaying things.
