1) Because we aren't Ga. Tech or in the BCS for that matter and obviously can't schedule like them.
2) And because we stand to gain very little if we beat you. Scheduling you is a no win proposition. If you were in our boat and can schedule Houston, and Southern Miss at home along with an occasional BCS team why schedule MTSU? This isn't a comparing schedules thing and you responding by saying well hey we can schedule the same schools you can. Answer this from our point of view, if we can schedule the occasional BCS team and CUSA teams on a regular basis why schedule a 1-1 with MTSU??
If you can get these teams to play you at home, you should keep scheduling them. We have no interest in scheduling an away game with Middle Tennessee State. We need to schedule teams that will draw more interest than Middle Tennessee State. There are lots of teams of more interest to our fans that are closer than Middle Tennessee State. As I was typing your long name I just wondered, what does the game announcer say when he refers to Middle Tennessee State.
Ehh, I don't really care about any of that crap. Or the BS about their name. I wouldn't schedule or not schedule teams because of their frickin name. Obviously Ga. Tech isn't worried about that crap. It's the overall situation that's the problem.
I only care about Tech. What does playing them do for us?? .........Not much.
If we can get a multiple game home and home with S Miss. and home and homes with Navy and Houston much less the occasional BCS team then why even go there. It just does nothing for us.
[quote=MTSUPiKapp;887787]Okay, now you're just being a dumbass (no surprise there ).And at one time not too long ago the same could be said for Boise State, Southern Miss and even your beloved Louisiana Tech.
Does MTSJC have any pro Hall of Famers like Terry Bradshaw, or Karl Malone, or Willie Roaf, or Fred Dean?
Again, comparing a junior college like MTSJC to LA Tech is absurd.
