these are from last time it snowed in ruston! just before i got ran off by the tech police!

not anything close to it this time, but maybe its coming!

You know why they ran you off? It's because many years ago the university actually encouraged kids to sled down the hills around the TAC. Needless to say, a kid slammed into the base of a light pole and suffered paralysis i think. He and his parents sued the university. I'm not sure the outcome of the lawsuit, but anyone who has graduated from LSU Law has studied that case.

Lots of trees up there in Claiborne Parish to take down the power lines. Guessing the Claiborne Electric Co-Op guys will be booking some serious overtime soon ??

DR never closed when it snowed when I was at Tech, it only snowed once though. It was a blizzard to me.

Was that like in 1991 or 1992??? I was just talking about that snow, a friend of mine and I hopped in his car about 6AM, trying to wake people up to go sledding at the JOE (illegally) and DR did not cancel classes......could not believe it!!!!!!!!

back in the early 80's we had one heck of a snow. I was one of the first ones in The Joe parking lot doing donuts. we'd come down from Hideaway Park and down the slope and hit the parking lot with some speedddddddd. After while I had to go get some gas and when i came back, i saw some red and blue lights . . .. bustedddddddd. I just drove by real slow like i was just minding my own business.
