Did anyone see where ELA ranked us #101 preseason on the WAC forum. I can't wait until the season starts to prove everyone wrong. We will finish at least in the top 3 in the conference.

It's just a poster on the scout message boards. As you can imagine, he isn't looking all that closely at 120 teams. Just briefly looking at last year's schedule, results, and statistics and running with the obvious.

Basically, he thinks since we lost our all-time leading rusher and got a new coach(with a rep for throwing the ball around) we will pass more. But since we only won 4 games last year we won't win many this year.

Probably similar to what you'll get on any non-top 25 team in a national mag, but less information.

I wouldnt get in a twist over that. CFN has us somewhere around there in their preseason rankings too. We'll probably see more numbers like that.

I dont take it as a lack of respect. We didnt prove much in 09 and ON PAPER, that's what our 2010 chances look like to most outsiders.

Besides -- Tech performs best when below the radar. Embrace it.

I think it also didn't help that we lost to some seriously low ranked teams.

They played the Hirsch but their "spaceship" wouldn't fit so they played without the benefit of all their props - circa 1982-83?.....

I am of the opinion that this year is going to be a tuff one if we try to "air it out" 40 to 60 times a game.

I don't know, going to Molten, Livas, Paige, Casey, Cruz and Jacarri and DJ and Creer out of the backfield sounds pretty unstoppable to me. Harper too.
