Offensive transitions are tough and we don't have a clear-cut leader for the most important position on the field. That said, I think coach Dykes has shown that he is capable of working with the talent he has. Our schedule sets us up for success next year. I think we could see 8 wins if we don't get hit by the injury bug on the defensive side of the ball.

Defensive stability will help, that's for sure. We will mourn the departure of D'Anthony but we have leaders such as Tank and Cole.
I've been after Robken for years to do an ELO half-time performance....

Neither...10-11 wins in the regular season.
I know some writers have already said that Boise should be ranked #2 to start the season. I suspect they will actually start out somewhere in the 4-7 range. Just saying that if they did start at #2 and the #1 falls before we play them, they have a great chance of being #1 at that time.

this year Boise has a tough schedule as opposed to last season with one "signature win" (besides us of course) If they can win at Vtech and against oregon state at home, and they start off in the top 4-7, they could very well could climb thier way to the top by the time we face them!
man, i just wish this was the year we get them at home. i hated to "waste" this year's home game with them on a season that ended up not meaning anything. its tough to get a W on the smurf turf but we always have a shot at the Joe!
Now that I think about it, makes sense. It's a similar offense (VT) because of Taylor, and the ACC just seems more physical than the PAC 10.
Thats a game that the BCS guys love to refer to. They always fail to point out that Zabranski had a horrible game (4 interceptions and 2 fumbles) and was pulled before halftime. Not making excuses, but w/out the unusually horrible game by Zabranski, Boise makes it respectable at the least.
