    Coach at Lambright

Today as I was working out I saw Coach Dykes there on a treadmill. I don't know if this is my opinion but Dooley would have NEVER in a hundred years go to the Lambright to work out. I think that just goes to show how down to earth he is. Thats all

I never met DD but I feel like he probably wouldn't have chose to use the intramural center either. Good to see that Dykes is a man of the people.

Rupp definitely supports the other Tech sports. I've seen him at several baseball games, volleyball games,... you name it. And he isn't just a "spectator" like most of our fan base either. The man gets excited and loud for Tech's teams. You gotta love it!

Rupp is everywhere!!! You don't have look for him . . .turn around and he's there! I, too, really like to see that in a coach. He got my respect real fast doing that and it has continued to grow. I hope Dykes is the same way.

Especially when he is dressed in red shorts and red socks pulled up to his knees and standing next to a very muscular tall black man dressed the same way. LOL, Love the man. Great to hear that Coach SD is taking advantage of the facilities.

I checked out behind Sonny D at Super 1 last week.

    Two burning questions:

    1. Was he buying a six pack of Big Red?

    2. Did he use paper or plastic bags?

He was buying a mountain of assorted soft drinks and bottled water.
Plastic. Do they still have paper at Super1? If they do, I never noticed.

when i was at Tech, there were plenty of people who would "scout talent" from the lambright treadmills, but not talent for the football team. :icon_wink:
