I'm watching Siena vs Butler an neither team is overly impressive. Both are that work it around/ nothing too exciting/ not going to beat you with atheleticism type teams. IMO USU, NMST, Nevada, and Tech beat these teams in a neutral court.

From what I have read, our opponent is going to try the same thing. I hate "slow down" teams just because it makes the game ugly. I know that defense wins games, but would rather see an all out offense fest.

Speaking of, that game was probably the most fun game to watch i've ever seen.

I mean they'd seemingly take control of the game, get the crowd into it, and then nba 3pter (nick van exel range.... i mean ... that was ridiculous) and silence the arena, that was amazing. They never gave up.

Heard a guy on espn say that Tech really helped themselves with their win. Other than us, and some other team, he said he didn't really see anyone on the bracketbuster list (not including the utah state game) that was really going to be in consideration for the tourney unless they won their conference tourney.

    That's good news for us...

WAC starts 4-4 (3-1 road) with Hawai'i losing 47-25 still playing in the 1st half.

Of the 8 games involving WAC teams completed so far, the road team is 6-2.

Hawaii has no chance of coming back. 51-30 Halftime.

    It's really ugly!

Final from Honolulu was Cal Poly 102-89...how could a 10-win Cal Poly team break 100 when Tech almost didn't score that many in two games combined against Hawai'i.

WAC finished up 4-5 (3-1 road, 1-4 home). The road team went 7-2 in the 9 games.

    Rockdog:

Caught that as well. It was college basketball analyst Andy Katz.

On one of the telecasts, I guess it was the Nev-Mo State game, they were signing the praises of the MVC in Buster play, and I thought, yeah, but, they play most of their games at home. Looking at those stats, maybe the WAC should have played all nine on the road this go-around.

Because we play to the level of our opponent.

Yes, and we should make it mandatory our students watch the game when we play up there so they can learn was school spirit is supposed to look like. I'm not knocking our students who do come and yell for the team -- just all the rest of them.

The Missouri State crowd is great. Not quite as good as Utah State, but close.
