A WAC Sweep?

Nevada ALWAYS makes the WAC look bad nationally. They lose all their bowl games, bracket buster games, etc......every time Nevada plays on TV, they LOSE! Except of course, when they play LA Tech!

So far the CAA is having the worst weekend (losing 3 of 4 TV games with George Mason just now starting). Missouri Valley is winning with wins by UNI and Missouri State. If USU can beat Wichita State to end the weekend then we might prove to be the top conference in the Bracket Buster.

Fresno vs UCSB and NMSU @ Pacific are also huge games as one of them will win the Big West but all we need is a USU win.

I'd be happy if Utah State and Fresno win. We are 2-1 so far in TV games and Utah State is just now tipping off at home. Decent chance of making that 3-1.

I wouldn't give Utah State an automatic win. Wichita State is very good.

I think folks are under-estimating how good of a team we have at Tech. We gave Utah State all they wanted at their place, and then turned around and upset Northeastern. NMSU hit a shot at the buzzer to beat us in Las Cruces. We're a dangerous team. I guarantee you nobody in the WAC looks forward to playing us in the tournament.

WAC went 3-1 in BracketBusters TV games, with NMSU and Utah State joining Tech as winners. Overall the WAC was only 4-5, with San Jose winning, but Fresno, Idaho, Boise and Hawaii losing.
