Re: ACORN shatters, is reborn
Yeah, and here's the DA who came to this conclusion:

Here's all I need to know: Now in his fifth term, Hynes, a Democrat, was first elected to office in 1989. After working for the Legal Aid Society, he joined the Kings County District Attorney's office in 1969, where he served as an Assistant District Attorney.
Take a look at what the Legal Aid Society is:

I'd bet if anyone were to dig just a little, they'd find links between ACORN and the Legal Aid Society... not surprising this guy didn't see what everyone else saw.

An ACORN by Any Other Name Still Smells Like an ACORN, Critics Say
By Stephen Clark
- FOXNews.com
Rep. Darrell Issa, the top Republican on the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, who led an investigation into the group, said ACORN's assertion that it is closing is just another scheme designed to its hands on taxpayer funds.
In this photo taken, March 12, 2010, in Chicago, Michael Shea, Executive Director of Affordable Housing Centers of America, formally known as ACORN Housing poses next to the organization's new sign. (AP)
If it looks like an ACORN and it acts like an ACORN ...
Republicans say they know an ACORN when they see it, and just because the community activist organization says it's disbanding, that doesn't mean it's gone.
