A sales guy came in here this morning and saw my Tech sweatshirt and said Hey, we got your coach! I laughed and said that's ok, he's a better lawyer than he is a coach. Y'all can have him. He said that's what everyone in Knoxville is afraid of. And then we both laughed.
I think he'll do fine as long as he has good assistants, and I think he'll have good assistants. At Tennessee he'll be given the resources to get whomever he needs. He is not an Xs and Os guy, but he's a super organizer/salesman. If he gets the right staff in place, he'll drive them to success.
Meanwhile, he got us started down a path of improvement which I don't see us abandoning. And now, we have a better Xs and Os guy at the helm.
