He is my guess as the new "big splash" impact player.
we shall see....
should be an exciting player to watch though...
I think the transfers will give as almost as much value off the field as on. They can persuade recruits on their visits that Tech is right up there with Tenn and that other school.
Wes Carrol from MSU (transferring to FIU) is on the QB's list.
I'm still convinced that our student section is the primary reason he lost his edge and his starting role at MSU. After Carrols second (or maybe third) INT, they put Lee in and the entire student section started chanting his name.
Still a lot of work to be done by Mr. Creer. Crazy talent for a running back, but we're still looking for a full hearted pledge....It's been a big adjustment and we need Creer to understand that D1 football is.........D1 football, no matter if it's SEC or WAC. But the talent and "Eye" test is there.
Don't count on Creer. Wonderful talent, but I'll be shocked if he overcomes all the baggage (4 coaching changes etc.). Don't know how he feels, but I would be hard-pressed to trust what anyone told me. I sure hope he an SD connect - we really need him and at this point he now needs us.

This program NEEDS for Creer to come in a dominate....and then get drafted by the NFL.
That will send a signal to the recruiting world that La Tech is a viable option for a kid to come in and get playing time....and reach the prize.
It is in Dykes best interest that Creer not ride the bench.
Does Creer show up to all the workouts and such, or is that now allowed while sitting out?
Kids need to know that just because you have 3, 4, or 5 stars next to your name on Rivals or Scout that you aren't going to success without hard work and commitment. I hope Creer puts in a lot of hard work this summer and is ready to bring his A game this fall.
He hasn't played a down of football for Tech. Hold off all the judgements.
NO, its the spring!
In 2010, the next great #5 takes the field. Quick 6 McDaniels and Big Joe Smith rolled up in one tailback.
