Mike Green was perhaps one of the most talented basketball players to play mens basketball at Louisiana Tech. the 6-10 McComb, Miss., native's name is etched in Tech history for his contributions as a center for the Bulldogs. His rebounding, shot blocking and scoring skills are some of the best to be displayed on a Tech team.
His team in 1971-72 averaged (AVERAGED!) more than 100 points a game and this was before a 3-point line. Mike’s scoring average his junior and senior years approached 45 points per game.
