Wrong. And it is prophetic in both the OT and NT when one studies prophecy. It's just not what we want to read or hear. Every nation on earth will gather against Israel to take spoils in the last days. Every nation means and would included America or what's left of us. And GOD will strike his vengeance! And why????? For one, per the verses below, "for they scattered my people among the nations and divided up my land." This is what the Dems (From Carter to Obama) have been trying to do; divide and split Israel and Jerusalem (pure evil in God's eyes). Do some studying my man. GOD states he will make Jerusalem a heavy stone/burdensome cup for those wanting to try and mess with her .
    Zechariah 12:3 NIV
On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves.

This is what Obama and his ADM are trying to do to Israel and in an evil vicious way at a time of her when she needs us most. Condi Rice through Bush wasn't too kind either.

Oh and this new obama legislation making us the United Socialist States of America didn't just start us down the path...it put us there for good unless we can overturn it in November.

    Joel 3:2 NIVd
I will gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat (in Israel for the "battle of Armagedon"). There I will enter into judgment against them concerning my inheritance, my people Israel, for they scattered my people among the nations and divided up my land.

There is so much more throughout the Bible that points to what's happening now per the prophetic timeline of man (what little there seems to be left) and God's overall end game and of course future as well plan. Prophecy is actually really fun to study and or to just read for pure fun. Heaven knows there is plenty of material out there. But the best is with a good guide and the Bible right there with you at the same time.

None of that refutes that America isn't mentioned in the Bible or that any punishment to the US that has already been going on for decades is punishment for something going on right now.

Also- Israelis leave Israel on their own free will. Israel hasn't been divided up. And not every nation, not even the US, is "rising up" against Israel.

OK.................................... Hum.................Not sure what to say...................But I'll start here. That is why it's called "prophecy". And yes, some of that is happening today in front of our very eyes as well. The table has to be set. And Obama is setting the table for exactly that. Read the news, about Israel/Obama/Iran and Russia, out of DC today and you will see more. On top of all of this, Obama is basically
emboldening hatred, from all people groups (radical Muslims especially) for Israel.
    Think about it again.

U.S. Softens Sanction Plan Against Iran

The U.S. has backed away from pursuing tough sanctions against Iran in order to win support from Russia and China for a U.N. resolution.

VIENNA -- The U.S. has backed away from pursuing a number of tough measures against Iran in order to win support from Russia and China for a new United Nations Security Council resolution on sanctions, according to people familiar with the matter.

Among provisions removed from the original draft resolution the U.S. sent to key allies last month were sanctions aimed at choking off Tehran's access to international banking services and capital markets, and closing international airspace and waters to Iran's national air cargo and shipping lines, according to the people.

The U.S. and allies are trying to force Iran to rein in a nuclear program that they worry is aimed at developing atomic weapons. Tehran says its nuclear activities are peaceful. The U.K. and Germany, concerned that Russia and China would reject the resolution outright and preferring to turn up pressure on Iran gradually, persuaded U.S. officials to drop or soften several elements, including some of the document's harshest provisions, the people said.

Netanyahu flies home amid disagreement with Obama on key issues
    DEBKAfile Exclusive Report March 24, 2010, 9:36 PM (GMT+02:00)

US president Barack Obama kept on turning the screw on Israeli minister Binyamin Netanyahu Wednesday, March 24, after their harsh conversation in the White House Tuesday: Netanyahu was told bluntly to issue a White House-dictated public pledge before leaving Washington for home to eschew further construction in East Jerusalem, or else face a US presidential notice condemning Israel and holding its government responsible for the failure to restart indirect Israel-Palestinian talks.

I bet this Obama treatment actually starts a huge war. I can just hear Netanyahu now, "&^*% Obama and Hillary! Looks like we're on our own boys. I'm going to go ahead with our new building plans, on our land, and I think we'll go ahead and bomb Iran and Damascus while we're at it."

Nobama doesn't want Israel to build 1600 homes but he won't do a dam thing about Iran building new Atomic sites. Then again, he is muslim isn't he.

IRAN IS 'PLANNING NEW ATOMIC SITES'...

By DAVID E. SANGER and WILLIAM J. BROAD
    Published: March 27, 2010

WASHINGTON — Six months after the revelation of a secret nuclear enrichment site in Iran, international inspectors and Western intelligence agencies say they suspect that Tehran is preparing to build more sites in defiance of United Nations demands.

The United Nations inspectors assigned to monitor Iran’s nuclear program are now searching for evidence of two such sites, prompted by recent comments by a top Iranian official that drew little attention in the West, and are looking into a mystery about the whereabouts of recently manufactured uranium enrichment equipment.

In an interview with the Iranian Student News Agency, the official, Ali Akbar Salehi, head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization, said President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad had ordered work to begin soon on two new plants. The plants, he said, “will be built inside mountains,” presumably to protect them from attacks.

“God willing,” Mr. Salehi was quoted as saying, “we may start the construction of two new enrichment sites” in the Iranian new year, which began March 21.

Yep, without a regime change in Iran, I don't see any way out of this one. Guess I better fill up the mower.

I think Israel going it alone against Iran works perfectly with Obama's plans ....he too can cast Israel as the bad guys along with his muslim buddies.....plus the event will put that much more stress on our free market economy.

Israel will try to wait until the next United States Congress is seated before making any kind of preemptive attack on Iran. I believe that the majority of the next congress will be conservatives that will be inclined to support Israel. Of course, Iran knows this, so it's fanatic leader will try to provoke Israel into an attack before then.

True. Of course our own American fanatic leader is also trying to provoke Israel into an attack before then as well. :bigcry:

Study: Obama Skipping Red States in Favor of Dem Strongholds, Foreign Countries
    FOXNews.com
According to a study from the University of Minnesota's Humphrey Institute, President Obama has spoken to audiences in just seven of the 22 states he lost in the 2008 election.

President Obama's spending a lot of time flying over "flyover country."

According to a study from the University of Minnesota's Humphrey Institute, the president has spoken to audiences in just seven of the 22 states he lost in the 2008 election.

In fact, he's visited more foreign countries than he has "red states" -- and he's delivered eight times the number of speeches in states he won than in states John McCain won.

"He's made it to Hawaii. He's made it to California several times," said Eric Ostermeir, the research associate who conducted the study. "There's just a lot of states he's missing in between."

I would doubt that he cares whether we exist at all. Except of course when we pay taxes. I would be surprised if he thinks we are even capible of understanding his intellect and therefore not worth his time.
