I think this is pure speculation. Andre Taylor is a prototypical tightend.
The only real difference between a prototyicpal tight end and a prototypical DE is speed these days.
I'm still not sure how we are going to use TEs. SD made great use of them at Arizona. Franklin doesn't seem to use them as much.

Taylor at DE may not ultimately happen, but it definitely is not pure speculation
I am certainly glad to hear that LFR.
I didn't mean for my post to sound like criticism, if it did; I was just interjecting the little that I knew.
On the spring roster, Taylor is still listed at TE...that doesn't mean much though because Ellis is still listed at OL.
