Dre or Holton at the pg.
Josh Brown at the sg.
Olu and Johnson at the F's
Oliverson at C.
Dre or Holton = PG
Josh Brown, Redding, Bartlett = SG
Johnson or Redding or Brandon Gibson = SF
Olu, Farrington = PF
Farrington, Oliverson = C
If Roberson signs he is the starting center with Farrington being first off of the bench at PF and Center. Still have up to 3 ships to give with hopefully one of those going to Kourtney Roberson
Actually it is...
Center- Scottie Farrington
PF- Olu
SF- Josh Brown
SG- ??? Mystery recruit
PG- Dre
Bench-
SF/SG- Darrius Redding
SF/SG- Brandon Gibson
PG- Holton Hunsaker
PF/C- Deuce Johnson
C- Shawn Oliverson
SG- Anson
PG- Tevin Hall
Probably won't be as good as this year's team but I wouldn't be shocked to see us return to semifinals. All will depend on the final few recruits. If we can add Kourtney Roberson and a shooter to this group then we should have a good team.
We got Farrington to come in and play center, not to sit behind Oliverson.
not even close. oliverson and bartlett will be bench guys. berhe has been kicked off the team.
the likely starters for next year are ...
pg -- deandre brown, sr.
sg -- brandon gibson, rs so.
sf -- josh brown, jr.
pf -- olu ashalou, rs jr.
c -- scottie farrington, jr.
here's the bench for next year ...
pg -- holton hunsaker, fr.
sg --anson "ace" bartlett, jr.
sf -- darius redding, so.
pf -- deuce johnson, fr.
c -- shawn oliverson, sr.
***if d.j. wright somehow shows up on campus, which at this point would be a miracle, that changes everything. d.j. would immediately become a starter at the 3 and become our leading scorer. that would likely push brown to the 2 and gibson to the bench, and it would give us a lot of depth in the backcourt.
as it is right now, we have to hope that our two freshmen are ready to contribute immediately, or it's going to be a long year. i would expect oliverson won't get many minutes, and we're going to be very thin and small along the frontline.
the bold, the beautiful, theprofessor
I'm unfamiliar with Roberson's play. But from what I hear he may be the biggest key if we can land him. Farrington looks like he could potentially be better than DJ was as the 6th man. And I am still willing to bet that the coaching staff will land a lights out shooter for this class. The only thing I know for sure is barring any injuries or grade issues, we will have a lot more depth this year.
Does it worry anyone that Rupp doesn't develop talent and takes the Bicknell route of bringing in Jucos?
