Butch Pierre is what I am hearing...he actually wants the job and has strong recruiting ties to the area.
I think the wish list look like this for them:
Tim Floyd
Billy Kennedy
Mark Gottfried
and Butch
I have heard from a couple of people here in New Orleans that Floyd has already interviewed for the ULL job. That would lead me to believe the Hornets have already told him they are going to go in a different direction for their head job next season.

Yeah a friend of mine who goes to all the games called it. He said Lee would have to have won the NCAA tournament to keep his job this year. He was done before the season began. Kinda showed on the court too.

The CBS affiliate in Lafayette is reporting that Floyd has been offered the ULL job. It will be interesting to see if he takes it or attempts to interview elsewhere. About a dozen jobs have come open in the past week.
rumor right now is that he and ole Billy G. are in the running for the UTEP spot
