    to me at least.

Ross ran the offense very well. He makes the right reads faster than Steven. I just wish he could throw the deep ball as good as Steve. If he could, this wouldn't even be a competition.

If I were Ross, I would take Molton, Paige, Casey, and Harper and throw fly patterns all summer long. He will be a complete QB and we will win alot of games if he can get that down.

Ensminger did not look as good today as he has throughout Spring training. We have to remember though that Ross missed an entire week. I did think that Ross clearly looked better today.

Has Sonny even mentioned naming a starting QB coming out of the spring? I would think that he will wait until the fall camp to decide.

I don't think there was a clear #1. I thought Ross and Steven both were above the other guys, but the other guys played with different guys. Ross never was able to throw a deep ball. He missed an open guy multiple times because they were under thrown. I do believe that he has more pocket poise. Steven had some nice deep throws that did not connect. His pocket presence wasn't as good as Ross' though. I think we still have a while to go though. The inability to throw it down the field with Ross is still a concern, especially with this offense. If it looks like this in the fall, Ross may get the nod based on experience.

I forgot where the quote is but Franklin said that #1 will be determined early summer.

Based on what I saw today, Ross would be my stating QB.

Ensminger would be my starter. He has a cannon. With Ross the deep threat is not there at all.

Hard to decide between Ross and Steve.

The problem is eventually, if you can't throw the deep ball defenses sag in on you and you lose. So unless one guy is way better than the other than I am picking the guy that can throw the deep ball. Defensive coordinators these days are too savy and if you have no deep game they will figure it out and make you pay.

Sounds like we have no quarterback at all.

I will be shocked if Ensminger is not the starter with both playing alot game 1. Ross looked more poised, but he just can not throw the ball long......and with the WR burners we have, that throw is essential.

If we could combine their strengths, we would have a hell of a QB. Maybe we can put Ensminger in the game just to throw the bombs.

Without the long ball, this offense will struggle. Franklin has said repeatedly that you have to hit the occasional home run for this offense to be successful.
