Is Millsap a member of LTAC?
Jordan Mills on choosing Tech:
“It’s a great experience seeing them play. It was a good atmosphere. The fans stood up the whole game and never sat down. They have a great fan base.”
Should have gotten arsehole Dooley to do a live radio interview with him and call him out.
he called out Luke on live radio.
I wonder if he ever sent the check? Did Luke say he didn't know about the locker room project? If Dooley asked him that question, it sounds like Dooley had already asked him to donate and he had had plenty of time to donate. Any athlete that makes over a million per year should be able to donate to his alma mater, and being an athlete at Tech, he should know that Tech needs the money. Didn't he get a new contract for about 6 million per year? What if all of us that donate to LTAC just decided we weren't going to donate anymore until these athletes that went to Tech for free and are now making millions, make a donation? I don't really see how that is "calling him out". He may not be 40, but he is a grown man and that shouldn't hurt his feelings.
you have to understand that the potential career of a professional athelete is very short, and could end at almost any moment with little or no warning. young professional atheletes would do well to ensure that they are set for life before they start throwing money around. of course, most of them can still make decent-sized contributions to their alma mater without it hurting them too much, especially when they have been in the league as long as luke.
Are we worried about hurting someone's feelings that's making 7 million per year by asking him for a donation to the school that helped him get to his position of making 7 million per year?I know I've already received 2 brochures about LTAC this year. I bet Milsap has received at least one. If he hasn't somebody's not doing their job.
