Bulldogs to Play in Early-Season Coaches vs. Cancer Classic Basketball

The Bulldogs are scheduled to play in the "Coaches vs. Cancer Classic" Basketball Tournament which will have four sub-regionals (at Illinois, Maryland, Pittsburgh and Texas) and conclude in Madison Square Garden on Nov. 18-19, according to info at the end of John Perrotto's column "Around the Rim: Coaching Carousel Beginning to Spin" at http://www.basketballprospectus.com/...articleid=1024.

Other participants are to be Toledo, UC-Irvine, Charleston, Illinois-Chicago, Navy, Rhode Island and Seattle.

Why couldn't we have played in this thing this year when we had a half way decent team. We're going going to get slaughtered in this thing like we did several years ago on national tv against Florida.
