    Decent catch

Decent, routine catch by an average defense player.

Good catch and all, but Willie's catch was good because of the situation. Making an over the shoulder catch isn't all that hard. Add the intinsity of the situation adn all of the sudden it is amazing. The Edmonds catch doign the same thing while diving is an unbelievable catch.

Jim Edmonds' catch was the best catch that I have seen other than Willie Mayes'. Ichiro's catch was good, but not anything super special IMO.

Only better catch I've seen was the Ozzie Smith catch... diving up the middle, the ball takes a bad hop, so in mid air he reaches his throwing hand back and snags it, all this while parallel to the ground.

I assume you were being sarcastic, considering Ichiro has played nine years in the major leagues and has won how many Gold Gloves?

(Nine would be the correct answer.)

Bartman needs to stay in hiding.... even though he wasn't doign anything wrong, and I as a CUBS fan can admit that. I still don't want to see him. I will forgive him when the CUBS win this October.

That catch doesn't even TOUCH several Jim Edmonds and Griffey Jr. catches.

Can't forget Jeter's catch busting his face on the seats, and maybe even Gary Matthews Jr a couple years ago going 20 feet in the air.

For the record, Jeter's catch busting his face and his play in Oakland when he makes the flip to home are some of the most overrated playes ever. He caught the ball, THEN dove into the stands because he was out of control with his body. He was also, out of position to make the flip. It worked out for him in both, but they are ot GREAT plays
