Former Tech Assistant Steve Forbes Flattered by Iowa Mentions
Former Tech men's assistant basketball coach Steve Forbes, now an assistant at Tennessee, says he is "flattered" to be mentioned as a possibility to become the head coach at Iowa, calling it his "dream job," in a story by John Bohnenkamp posted on thehawkeye.com.
Though he says he has not been contacted by the university, the Iowa native says, "I'm ready for the opportunity," concerning becoming a head coach at Iowa or somewhere else, Bohnenkamp writes.
Forbes was at Texas A&M after Tech and then joined Bruce Pearl at Tennessee; and Pearl's name is also being mentioned as a possibility for Iowa.

I wonder if he will ever run for President again. He must be pretty well rounded to know so much about economics and basketball. The Flat Tax and 3 point play combo!!!
