Karl, is that McDaniels in the video?
I believe that's 6 - a very old 56, "6".
yes a man in corpus christi contacted me about using football footage. said he found him on the streets and took him in and they are working on a story of his life
Looks like Quick Six can use a quick fix. I'm not proposing charity, although maybe a fund to help him over some bumps would be a good idea. What he really needs is a good job and an opportunity. If he's trying to lick an addiction to crack (sense he mentioned that), he'll need some help there too.
Surely some Dawg somewhere can give Six an opportunity. Not a hand out...a hand up.
He's been doing crack cocaine since 1984. It's amazing that he's lived to be 56. I wonder how he's doing lately. That video would have been made at least 2 years ago.
No, that would McDaniel in the video. Let's get it right if we're gonna write about someone.

i was at the 1974 game, that game made me want to go to la tech. i love the pic dawgpix. i wish you would put up more.
Watching the video made me sad. So much potential lost. I'd wondered what he was doing, but had no idea. . .
Sorry about adding the "s". I can barely remember how to spell any names from 38 years ago. He was really something as a freshman. (Wore a different number that year, 27 I think). Got the 6 his sophomore year to go with the quick 6 nickname. As his career progressed, he gained some weight (not much maybe 20 pounds), got slowed by the pounding, and was not as elusive as a senior. I think he and Roland went to Chicago, Roland stuck and had a good career. I had been wondering where he was. Kinda wish I didn't know. Hope he can make it through today, and then tomorrow and then repeat. It is really hard.
We should figure out a way to go get him and bring him home. He's one of our own.
I agree we should find a way to help, but there are experts on this thing and I think most of them agree Charles is getting the most important help he can get right now in that HE is deciding HE needs to take care of himself and make a change. No one can win this battle for him.
