This has to be the highest attended baseball game in Tech history. I wonder what the all-time attendance record is for a baseball game?

College -1) Houston @ SanDiego State (played at PETCO PARK) 40,106
    2) Louisiana Tech @ Minnesota (played at Target Field) 37,757
    3) Georgia Tech @ UGA (Turner Field) 28,836
    4) Tulane @ LSU (Superdome) 27,673

    MLB- 1) San Fransico Giants @ LA Dodgers (April 18, 1958) 78,627

***World Record- 1) Boston Redsox @ LA Dodgers (LA Coliseum) (March 30, 2008) 115,300***

***- this was an exibition match that counted in the preseason, that is why there is an MLB record and a world record.

    115,300!
WOW, imagine how far the top row was away from the field! You probably would have had a better view in an airplane!

A side note about the top two college attendance records. Assistant Coach Spud Adams has been a part of both of the #1 and #2 games. As a freshman infielder for Houston against San Diego St. and now as a coachfor Louisiana Tech against Minnesota.
