The big talk in Texas this week was regarding the 47K "mostly Baylor" fans that attended the Baylor-Duke Elite Eight game in Houston last week.

(There is a possibility that Udoh goes to the NBA.) And Drew just signed the 6'11" McDonald's All-American center Perry Jones III from Duncanville, TX.

Point Guard Tweety Carter will be a huge loss, but Carter was only the main man for 1 year. He followed an equally good Curtis Jarrels, and they've already got a new guy (A. J. Walton) in the wings ready to go. Walton played quite a bit this year as a freshman.

Speaking of Point guards, check out this Baylor Point Guard recruit, Stargell Love.

Yes, they look set for a while. I think the biggest thing they have to worry about is losing Drew to a big time BB school if/when an opening comes up. If next year is like this year, he will be a very hot commodity for openings in the Big East, Big Ten, ACC, etc.

he was thinking of ohio, the #9 seed in the mac, who got hot to win its conference tourney and then knocked off georgetown in the first round as a #14 seed.

I would argue that, with the competitive nature of the Big 12, if Baylor can afford to keep him, they will. That conference has come a long way. They had 7 teams in the tourney and all of them at least won their first round game. That is pretty solid IMO.

Its not even close guys. Brad Stephens from Butler. They had a tough schedule and although they were 10th in the preseason they were still a mid-major. No mid major has ever made a run this far in the tournament. The guy is only 33 and has an 88-15 career record. He can flat out coach and is the key reason that this team went as far as they did with no obvious superstar.
