Tech Minnesota game second-largest attendance in college baseball history
Tech's game vs. Minnesota at the new Target Field on Saturday drew 36,056, the second largest crowd in college baseball history, according to GopherSports.com.
It also is the largest crowd this season, topping 14,558 at Dodger Stadium on Feb. 28 when UCLA played USC.
The record attendance for a college game was 40,106 at Petco Park when San Diego State played Houston on Mar. 11, 2004.

Too bad noone in the Tech administration thought it was a big deal. Not a call of congrats, a stop by the office, or anything from them to the coaches. Hell, they probably didn't even know we played there.

Best part about the whole thing is that we won... It's always better to be the winner of the 2nd largest game.

This is good, but until we commit (our AthDept and University leadership) to Baseball and all other sports other than Football we will continue to be mediocre. We must build a real AthDept...but we have been talking about this for years.
