I thought about that too. Someone has to be chosen to replace him in New Orleans, and I don't want it to be our guy.

If you are a Tulane fan, I'm not sure how you should feel about this because he has a 49-66 record over four seasons at Citadel.

WIST radio - Tulane's flagship station in New Orleans - is reporting that Tulane did talk to Tim Floyd about Tulane's job before Dave Dickerson "resigned" as Tulane's coach and Floyd took the UTEP job. He wanted $1.1 million to coach the Green Wave.
