The thing I like the most about this new offense is the fast pace of it. When we've run our offense quickly in the past we have been very successful. However, when we took forever to signal in the play, then changed it at the line and got the snap off with 1 second left on the play clock we've almost always looked incredibly bad.

Keep in mind Tank and Terry have seen seen the offenses of Navy and Auburm, and our offensive potential in, what, week 3 of spring is scarring them?? How long til September??

That's why I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high. If this thing works the way it's suppose to, the only teams that will beat us are those that can score a lot of points. I wish the aTm game was a little later so we could get more comfortable with the spread. Anyway, bring um on!

Hopefully our D Line is maturing so we can take out the run. The D Backs seem to be doing well on pass protection. The next big question is at punter. Maybe we won't need a punter!

We'll need a good one, but not as much as we did in those games last year where we suffered through those awful streches of "3 and out". Plus, this offensive scheme is not as dependent upon field position as our "system" (such as it was) was last year.

If we can avoid going entire quarters without a first down as we did last year, our defense will be so much better when they are not constantly on the field.

I think that every single year. I would rather think that and be a man and gut it up, if it doesn't work out.
