For those of you who don't like Coach Rupp for whatever reason, I'll go ahead and point out that this should not have been a surprise considering how the other schools in Louisiana performed. He might have won even with a .500 record.
Since Tech was the only Louisiana team in postseason and undefeated (5-0) against Louisiana competition I can't think of anyone more deserving than Rupp. It will be quite a challenge to match another 24 win season. Congrats coach Rupp!
