One thing that DD brought to the athletics department that I believe we will miss is his ability to draw attention to the program. That is one thing that he did very well and we gained from.

You gotta admit, the man is good with words.
And here I was all happy that we hadn't said a damn word about him in almost a month.
Say what you want about him, but without Dooley we would be in a HUGE WORLD OF HURT during the conference expansion.
That is dd the AD - the coach had no impact that any other new coach would not have had. I do agree on the AD.

I did meet Bill Haslam this week, mayor of Knoxville, candidate for Tennessee governor, and Pilot truck stop millionaire.
He doesn't expect much from the Vols for two years.
His hair is out of place....this probably caused some heartburn.For DM:
