It has been reported by The Daily Advertiser that La Tech's top assistant and best recruiter Nikita Johnson will join Bob Marlin's staff as UL Lafayette's top assistant. Looks like the perceived separation may not be reality.
How will this effect Tech's recruiting, being that Johnson was Tech's best recruiter?
why would he go to Louisville?

I'm not saying you are wrong, because I have no knowledge of the situation either way. But, I won't believe this until I see it.
Johnson is currently the Asst. Head Coach making a pretty decent salary, so leaving one assistant job for another assistant job doesn't make sense unless ULL is doing something big to sweeten the deal.
UL is located in Louisville last time I heard.

Guy, i am pretty sure this is true and its cause they are going to pay him more than Tech was paying him. I heard it from about 7 other D1 coaches before i heard it again today from someone at UL.
Doesn't shock me Big East schools can afford a lot more than we can.

Guys, its U of Louisiana in Lafayette not Louisville.
Mike Im pretty sure everyone knows that but no Other school in the state is not and will not recognize them as UL. They are ULL. The University of Louisiana Lafayette. NOT the University of Louisiana. Instead of trying to push that so damn much they need to embrace a unique nickname in ragin cajun and push that instead.
I think if he was talking about Louisville, then he'd have said Louisville...
He did go from LSU to Tech for the same position... Brady got fired after the next season... Tech to ULL is no different......
