Anyone care to offer up some excuses for Sat.

Maybe the old stand by "moral victory"

"However, the Bulldogs stuck with their never say die attitude like they have all season and plated two runs in the bottom half of the final inning"

The bats were dead, to many stupid mistakes and miscues, and pitching wasn't solid at all. The first pitcher though in the first game was really good, so I'll give him credit. We should've won that 2nd game. They looked like they didn't even care to be out there yesterday. Let's hope they get the win today and split the series

Sounds like the same team I saw in Lake Charles last year getting swept by the Cowboys. They seemed to be just going thru the motions.

According to some on here, you are not allowed to be critical of a program/coach unless you attend or support said program, so I will apologize now for my negatism.

I would really like to think that we attract the caliber of athlete that can compete day in and day out with everyone in our conference. To me that means the difference boils down to coaching and motivation. That's all I'm gonna say

    Pitching.

Yep, that's the difference Saturdy. SJSU had 2 good performances by their starters on Saturday and ours were not as good. However, our starters also did not receive the support from the fielders that they did Friday night.
