Isn't there something in the Constitution about the Federal Gov't having a postal service?

It is not mandatory, but Article 1 does authorize Congress "to establish Post Offices and Post Roads." Of course, Congress does everything they are authorized to do and then some.

Yep, will only get worse as those who dont use computers, either die or learn. I get no bills in the mail, all I get is junk mail like you. I agree with Dwayne, if they feel like they need to keep it for now, they need to cut back the days they are in operation.

I find that very hard to believe, basically, I don't believe it at all. If they don't get federal funding how do they continue to operate in the red year after year and not go belly up?
Well if they ever abolish it, please someone tell me ahead of time so I can buy stock in UPS or Fed Ex!
