It should be interesting to see the dominoes start falling. I hope we are in a better position quickly!!!

If any of the big conferences that are meeting this week do anything dramatic, its going to cascade throughout college sports.

June could be a great month for us.

I'm betting the PAC10 comes out on the bad end of this whole realignment thing.
Now the PAC 10 is talking smack about a revolution on June 6th at their meetings.
    It's coming, I tell you....its coming.

Hold on, cause this is going to be quite a ride. Remember the ups and downs in finding a new FB coach? This has the potential to be just as, if not more hair-raising...

This clip from The Wizard of Oz stands as a great metaphor to the current situation. Judy is Louisiana Tech, looking for her way in a troubled time with a terrible storm on the horizon, the Professor is all the media prognosticators predicting "Doom", the farm hands are the sports board posters losing their heads. The wicked witch is the Big 10 or perhaps the BCS in general. Can't quite place Auntie Em, Uncle Henry...perhaps DR & BVDV? And who is Toto?

At the end of it all we end up in a wonderful, but strange, new land...just wish I knew where it is.

Looks like the first Realignment domino is about to fall. It appears June 7th, Monday, will be the unofficial "Realignment Day" which will start the roller coaster.....Buckle Up!

<< Football power Boise State appears to be only waiting for an invitation to become the 10th member of the Mountain West Conference. That invitation could officially come as early as Monday when the MWC's board of directors meets in Jackson, Wyo.

Speculation around the MWC and the Western Athletic Conference is that Boise State will bolt from the WAC. Typical is the comment by Idaho athletic director Rob Spear, who recently wrote to Vandals fans in his blog, "I am predicting June 7 will be the day when the first shoe drops regarding conference realignment." >>

Agreed. Frankly, LA Tech is one of the schools who stands to benefit most from the upcoming realignment stuff. Oh sure.....CUSA is playing it cool now, but when the dominoes start falling, CUSA will be running for cover just like everyone else. LA Tech will be the first school CUSA invites.

We are on the same page. Totally agree!

Sometimes, you have to step back and look at things from a distance. La. Tech has a NAME that is recognized much more than people too close to the situation realize.

Hey! The views are great. You can stand on the KS-MO state line and see Colorado.
