Every year? Come on. It might be "easy" to do once(which I don't agree with), but look at their last ten years:

    1999: 10-3-0
    2000: 10-2-0
    2001: 8-4-0
    2002: 12-1-0
    2003: 13-1-0
    2004: 11-1-0
    2005: 9-4-0
    2006: 13-0-0
    2007: 10-3-0
    2008: 12-1-0
    2009: 14-0-0

How many teams beat two BCS bowl teams last year? You've got to take the AQ blinders off. I'm not saying their schedule is as hard as an SEC or Big 12 schedule, or even that they would have as good a record in a tougher conference. But a good team is a good team. If the Dallas Cowboys played in a middle school conference, they'd still be one of the best 10 or so football teams on the planet.

And we would KILL to have their "bad" season every year

Sorry Tulane and Fresno are bad examples. Tulane had one great season. Fresno hasnt had any really. It will take more than one bad season to eliminate Boise from the discussion. Maybe a 4-5 year string of bad to mediocre seasons would do it but they have two Fiesta bowl trophys to claim and they have averaged 2 losses per year for the last 10 years. If Boise switches conferences and starts having more average seasons then they will dissapear in a few years. I don't see that happening though.

I don't see Boise dropping away that easily either. I think Boise is going to have to make a mistake in a coaching hire one day before they come back to earth.

I keep telling everyone this and most of them don't seem to believe me. Good luck. They keep giving the very flawed reasoning of if they wanted them they would have invited them by now.

Likewise, no team in the MWC (which, save SDSU, have good academic reputations) wants Boise terrible-ass academics State. Period.

Big XII will never, ever invite TCU, again unless it absolutely has to. The big 3 Texas schools want nothing to do with that.
    Ditto!

I don't see it as their academics are probably as bad as ULM. And the sports other than football are pretty bad as well.

MWC couldn't care less. Would defiitely be a reason Utah could end up in the Pac10 instead of them though. It's definitely a big deal to the Pac10.

Let's be honest for a second. Using that criteria, the only thing we'd have going for us getting in CUSA is our academics. But Boise, like us, shows that want to invest in athletics even more than they already have and be better in every sport.

Boise will (90% chance) execute agreements before the end of this year to leave the WAC.

Even if the WAC would be closer to being a BC$ conference than an MWC without Utah or BYU?

I think so. Why? Because neither will ever be a bcs conference. A mwc without byu and Utah s sill more attractive to bsu than the current WAC.

What about MWC without Utah, BYU, TCU, and New Mexico?

I don't see TCU going anywhere. The Big XII doesn't need them. It would depend on who replaced those programs though. If they are replaced with Houston, Utep, Fresno, and Nevada, then yes.

It is believed that by the end of this year the WAC will be a radically different conference.
