10-4 on TCU. The last thing that any Big 12 school wants (since virtually all of them depend on Texas for recruits) is another Big 12 Texas school recruiting in Texas.

For me, definite advantage to the MWC. Only Hawaii and Fresno have the national recognition and prestige that the remaining MWC schools have...in my opinion. And I could very well see them going to the MWC to fill the openings.

If the MWC somehow lost 4, it would be forced into a merger with the WAC since it would maintain its automatic basketball bid for only two years after the changes took effect. Six schools must compete in men's basketball conference competition together for five consecutive years to maintain auto-bid eligibility.

If the MWC struggles to fill the spots after Utah and BYU bolt, you will see these schools merge with the WAC IMO. Schools like TCU and New Mexico will either get looked at by Big XII or whoever (yes TCU could go to the Big XII, especially if the they lose some of their top tier football schools like Texas and Nebraska).
