Can we please get rid of ULM? The closest FBS program would be three hours away. Imagine how easy it would be to market Tech to the surrounding region if we were the sole FBS program in a three-hour radius.
That's just my first thought from looking at the map. I just put it up to show everyone cuz its interesting, especially considering all the conference realignment talk lately. It shows where every program is located.
We just need to win consistently and our marketing will be half solved. I really don't think nlulm has that much to do with our marketing and their athletics have one foot in the grave already.

True, I guess i'm thinking more along the lines of perception. Many of the people around the surrounding region tend to perceive Tech as being in the same category as ULM.
Does any one else notice how many states with much larger populations have far fewer FBS schools than Louisiana????
