Very descriptive thread title.
Interesting, but nothing all that new.
If the WAC adds another crop of I-AA teams I believe it becomes the sunbelt of the west- especially if some of the big boys (BSU, Fresno, UH, UNR) leave for greener pastures.
No vision AT ALL! He is looking down to pick up teams when it would be the PRIME time to look up!
If the WAC gets decimated by Boise leaving, I feel for the teams that are left. If Nevada, Hawaii, Fresno, or us gets left behind, it will be the weakest conference in FBS. The teams he mentioned are weaker than the belt.
"Anything west of Ruston, La. is considered in the WAC (geographic) footprint," Benson said.
Idiot- why don't you just say - "Anything east of Hawaii is considered in the WAC footprint"
Cal-Poly, Cal-Davis, Montana......maybe San Jose St. can win more games with those guys on the schedule.
