No doubt about it. Expect Boise to be committed to the MWC by July.
wow. So help me understand the part about them taking their BCS "points" with them and those being enough to make the MWC an AQ conference ??
We have to get out of the WAC now!!!!
IF this is true, I hope every team in the WAC plays up and stomps a mudhole in the Broncos this season, especially our good ol' Bulldawgs from the SOUTH!
We need to roll up into Idaho and ruin their little BCS party. I think this is gonna start a mad dash to get out of the WAC.
I still can't see a move by anyone until the BCS conferences start deciding what to do. Everyone else is just waiting to see the Big 10s interest.
I think this deal has been done for a lot longer than many of us realize.
Basically they rate the conferences to see if a conference can move up into AQ status or get moved out of AQ status. There is a formula they use. This guy is saying Boise's past performance will be counted towards the MWC if thats the conference they are in. The MWC is obviously hoping this will help push them into AQ status.
Boise makes 10. Add Nevada for hoops and TECH to travel with tcu...a guy can dream can't he?

What's going to be left of the MWC???
If the PAC10 expands I would bet they take Utah and Colorado. That wouldn't be bad for the MWC at all. In that scenario what if UT/A&M/OU/OSU end up in the SEC. After losing Nebraska and Mizz to the Big10 the MWC could make a run at Texas Tech and Baylor. They could end up in much better shape than the Big12 which would be gone and the Big East as well.
I've come full circle from thinking that the Big XII would be hardest hit and that the PAC 10 must expand, to believing that even if the Big XII loses two teams they will just remain at 10, like the Pac 10, and the two conferences will enter into a longer-term television deal then the one they have currently announced. No fuss, no trouble. If so, then the MWC doesn't get raided, while the Big East will probably get whacked. We could be headed for an AQ swap where the Big East loses its AQ status and is replaced by the MWC.
