What, no mention of Dooley? Anybody that can get Reneau off his butt deserves some recognition.

Boy, we sure have some selective memories around here. Love him or hate him, NONE of these improvements would have happened without his direction. We just need to keep the momentum going.

How do you even begin to quantify a statement like that...? Dooley was the only person capable of this..? Dooley didn't have long hair a beard and sandals...
Don't worry about Dooley. He already has this on his resume
WEll to his credit, he was the MAIN person responsible for this.
How? Very easy. Find me another AD at Tech in the last 40 years that had the self-confidence and vision that he has? Personally, I think he's an SOB, but without his influence I really believe we would be Sun Belt bound.

Some are quick to forget the JOakes and JBIII days. While Dooley was probably not the only person in the world who could have turned us around, not many first time football coaches could multitask as A+ Athletic Directors.
Debate who gets the credit all you want, but LOUISIANA TECH won the Award. I hope this is in front of every conference comish and school prez from conferences we want to be in. Let's keep this ball rolling!
You can bet we got the word around in Destin at the CUSA spring meeting earlier this week.
