These people make me sick, at least respect the families and the soldier who gave his life to serve his country. I dont care how much you disagree with Bush or the war, a soldiers funeral is not the time to show it. Thats disgusting.

    Absolutely true story:

I knocked out one of these type whack jobs in Pensacola, Florida.

They showed up at my brother's wedding and started shouting hate through the doors into the reception hall. We closed the doors and they banged on windows and held up signs.

As best man, I walked outside to inform them that the police have been called and that if they move now I would call off the dogs. Their right to demonstrate does not include banging on privately owned windows.

Well one of the young men in the group started yelling at me and got in my face. He hit me with his Bible so I knocked him completely out cold. One punch to the jaw and he went down like a sack of potatoes. The cop asked who hit first and we had more than 50 witnesses who said he did. Interesting enough, the so called Christians lied and said I did. The cops believed me and I went back to the reception.

I believe that if someone tried to pull this crap at a funeral for one of my family members, there would be a second funeral coming shortly thereafter.

    Also, way to go duckbillplatty!

Part of the problem with these protests is that a group of bikers who are Vietnam vets have been lining the funeral routes, escorting funeral procession, and standing guard over the cemetary in the nights prior to the funeral. If the protesters do show up, they block them from sight with their bikes and patriotic signs so the families can't see what the freakos have on their signs.

    That's freaking cool.

However, the police are seriously worried about the bikers killing the protesters soon. I'm all for it to tell the truth. Thin out their numbers.

The whole church is the pastor's family. I bet the Pastor is secretly gay. Kind of like that guy in American Beauty.

Nothing like a bunch of bad-ass bikers to scare the crap out of a bunch of panty-waisted peace activitists!

As for the bikers killing some of them, I would have to say that the country would be a better place without that kind of DNA floating around the gene pool.

Could be a mistake bring their crap to the Deep South. The people down here tend to be very, very patriotic, and most of them are armed.

Actually, they are not peace activists. Their claim is that the dead soldiers are God's wrath for all the gay people in the U.S. They are part of a group called Westboro Baptist Church, in Topeka, Kansas. How they are able to function without being harmed is amazing.

Here is their website, pretty catchy:
