    Hmmm...you know in the long term this might be a bad thing for the lesser elites that will be in that mix of the new 16s. Think Ole Miss and MSU and I'm sure a few others. The way its going, they will probably get hammered over and over if the uber-elites continue their dominance year after year and I don't see that changing. They will probably see their support get smaller because their fan bases will get discouraged.

    Sorry for the tangent but the whole country is thinking about the short term.

    The $17.4 million that Miss. State gets from the SEC is over half of their entire athletic budget. Just think what Tech could do with that kind of money. I read an article in the
    Arkansas Demozette this morning that said Texas athletic dept. took in 135 million this past year. How long will it be before Obama starts taxing these big schools?
