bleacherreport on fcs teams
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/3...for-fbs#page/1
The FCS has brought us football fans some great gifts in the past many years. From Joe Flacco (pictured), to Boise State, to Jim Tressel, the FCS is a great setup man for the FBS and sometimes even the NFL.
But the best thing that the FCS does for both FBS members and FCS members is developing quality programs that can compete in the FBS. While yes, there have been blunders, like Western Kentucky and Arkansas State, there have also been great successes like Boise State and Louisiana Tech.
Now that its been few few years since the FCS has been poached, I think its ripe for the picking. While I know that upgrading to the FBS is more complicated than I am laying out, schools and conferences can still see that there is talent in the lower ranks that can benefit from the move.

Re: bleacherreport on fcs teams
It's nice that someone said that and all, but [insert standard bleacherreport is just a place for fan blogs disclaimer] WKU has only been FBS for one year. And I think they have the budget to have some upside to them.
I'm glad a blogger out there sees us as a success.

Yup, glad to see a little recognition.
Interesting that all of those schools (except Richmond and Villanova - both private) have a larger student population than Tech.

This is the site Saints fans hammer constantly because every week or so some disgruntled Vikings fan posts a rant about how evil the Saints are. It's good to be the king.
