I wonder if UT is signing a "I Love the Big XII" pledge on Friday, too?

I think that's ideally what UT wants: NO CHANGES! They like the Big 12 just the way it is. So forcing Nebraska's (and the Big 10's) hand early is a way to maximize it's leverage in either scenario.

The implications of this scenario are that Nebraska could be left stranded by itself if the Big 10 doesn't come to its rescue. Only 4 (or 5) schools would be left for Nebraska to partner with; ISU, KSU, Kansas, Missouri, and/or Colorado in some scenarios. (And both Missouri and Colorado could be gone too!)

TEXAS just FORCED the Big 10's (and Nebraska's) hand!!! I love it. That's real TEETH!!! Texas is FORCING the issue.

    Exactly.
This is forcing their hand....or risk being left holding the bag.

This guy seems close to someone in the know. Is Colorado about to bolt to the PAC 10 in advance of the June 15 deadline? Interesting reading:

Again the scary head of Baylor being left out rears up. We need Baylor to be included with Texas to keep the lead for a CUSA spot. Now, CUSA WITH us AND Baylor is fine, but if they only expand by one team, Baylor would get it.

Man, this is just crazy.... I don't think anyone can really predict anything right now. Exciting times........

Tech and Baylor in football would be a great match.

Ladies Basketball would be a sellout in Ruston.
