Historical Background Wanted

Just need a little background info on an incident that happened a long time ago. Does anyone have the details on why Baylor kicked an onside kick at the end of a game back in 86 or 94 (I think)? They were up by multiple scores and there was no way we could have won the game. I have strongly disliked (I try not to "hate") them ever since. Just a terrible display of sportsmanship. I always respected Grant Teaff up until then.

I don't remember that, but it would have to be one of the two years you mentioned. All the other games have been close.

The Baylor bear (the live bear, not the guy in the suit) bit the fire out of Champ's hand. Even broke the skin, that mean little SOB.

Back in 90....I think, at Baylor, Boniol kicked the game winner.......my dislike for Baylor started when we got into the stadium. They did not serve Coke or 7up, or anything you really could mix alcohol with..........that night was the night the 'Captian' was mixed with something else....and I can not remember what!!!!!!!!!
