If this is true, how many teams is the SEC trying for? The talk of the day has been A&M to the SEC, but I would find it hard to believe that the two teams they are inviting are A&M and Oklahoma.
Looks like 14 total. Have seen reports saying Slive is offering to move 2 current teams out of the west & into the east to make room for aTm & OU.
Who knows whats real?
Kind of makes sense given the way Colorado suddenly announced its move to the PAC 10 only immediately compared to Nebraska setting off a media nuke and not really doing anything up to this point. I bet the SEC is following the crouching gator, hidden longhorn method like CU to PAC 10 too.
From what I've been reading, it sounds like the SEC has told OU, Texas and Texas A&M that the SEC has two spots available if two of the three would accept.
Insanity.
If this is true Arkansas fans are going bonkers. They get to have some of their cake and eat it too. They will get some of the SWC days back and not have to the leave the SEC.
Saw on the Sooners message board that Josh Heupel is saying that he doesnt know where KTBS got that info because it wasnt true. Funny how so many are trying to get "the scoop" and theres really no telling whats fact and whats fiction.
Poor Mississippi State and Vanderbilt. More teams to kick the crap out of them. They'll never win a championship.
KTBS and Fletch do not just make up a report and site the source. If it was made up or "rumored" they would not have said Heupel said it. They would have just said "sources say".
Heupel said it, and is trying to save his job! The Associate AD was apparently pissed that this was leaked and even made the comment when asked, "We will not comment at this time, when the time is right, the univeristy will release a statement through the proper channels and not some football coach at a banquet."
In other words, OU to the SEC
