We can say enough is enough and vote for good people who believe in the principles on which the U.S. founded. For too long, the majority has sat back and let the liberals have their way.

It is not too late to stop this march to madness, but time is running out.

The elections this November will be the last chance we have to stop it. If the voters of this nation do not put the democrat party out of power, then this country is lost.

I bet plenty of folks in Louisiana are happy that this $20 billion fund is up and running.

Of course, repubs are not happy about this $20 billion fund because it shows Obama getting something done. :bigcry::bigcry::bigcry:

There is a chance that the repubs get back the House but the Senate????? That seems a long shot.

The real facts Salty. And Obama had zero power in this one though I'm sure it did come across like a good old S.Chicago Jessie Jackson "shakedown" to BP. He treats American businesses this way and now foreign ones. BP owes America Big Time for this screw-up. But word of those type tactics of Obama's get around quick, and coming from the White House, these moves will circle the globe proving again that Obama's actions are more that of a 3rd world type of country and leader. Our troops think he's a joke as do the rest of the free and God fearing world. Obama is killing us Salty!

The facts on the BP "escrow" account - 12160.org
    Jun 16, 2010 ...

The "escrow account" in 2010 is not $20 billion dollars. BP will put in $3 billion dollars in the third quarter of 2010 (ending September 30) and another $2 billion in the fourth quarter (ending December 31). Thereafter, it will have to make installments of $1.25 billion each quarter for the next three years.

This means that the necessary money will not be available to pay the tens of billions in losses that are real and immediate. It also means that
people and businesses will have to get in line.
