McChrystal was set up to fail. nobama did not give McChrystal everything he wanted and sent completely mixed signals about what the Afghan strategy was and is.

There were many battles behind the scenes that nonbama should have put an end to long ago instead of being so focused on the rest of his misguided agenda.

And who approved Rolling Stone as a legitimate media outlet to be embedded with the military? Guess it was because the 60 Minutes strategy didn't work since their piece on McChrystal was quite favorable.
