Exactly, I just don't understand how they can spend money to rent a helicopter for one halftime show when our band is trying to find the funds to clean uniforms.

Stuff like the presidents fence and helicopter won't attract attention of the auditors. Like what was listed in the report - they only commented on stuff over a million dollars. A million in stock loss here....a million in lost equipment there.....wasteful funds on the prez house and helicopters...what else don't we know????

there is nothing wrong with this at all. criticizing this stunt, which is all it is, only will open up criticism for Tech whenever its band decides to be imaginative instead of marching around like little toy soldiers.
Why dispose of such grand history for mistakes of the incompetent recently? Simply replace the powers to be. So easy to say shutter GSU and not give a second thought to it on a Louisiana Tech message board, but what if people said shut down Tech because of a few incompetent people? I'm sure you'd think that shutting down Tech would be extreme just like shutting down GSU is extreme. If someone has a cut on his finger you bandage it not cut it off.
That is one of the best posts you have made. It is no secret that I like Grambling. I hope they get this straightened out and "put the bandage on it". Grambling and Tech are not in competition and I like the tradition and pride of Grambling. We have been good neighbors for a long time and I hope that continues.

They should have used whatever money they spent on that helicopter ride and bought some grass seed for their football field.
